Occassionally Ronnie Burrage will send me a Facebook message that contains a link to videos and articles with powerful messages. This one got to me. So I’m sharing.

The Ill Poets Society released a video about a 14 year old black boy who was executed in South Carolina for allegedly killing two white girls in 1944. The Ill Poets Society, organized by Dr. Raymon Morales, has launched a film/audio CD project that bings some of the best spoken word artists together to focus on issues affecting our community.

My Name is George Junius Stinney, Jr is written by spoken word artist, KillaNoyz – keep ing George Junius Stinney, Jr’s name alive.
